Job Description


As a Security Officer - Healthcare Entry Screener in Reidsville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entrances, greeting visitors, and checking credentials. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will utilize computer or tablet devices as part of your daily duties, supporting both staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Greet and interact with staff, patients, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner while following security-related procedures.
  • Perform screening duties at designated entry points, including checking identification, verifying appointments, and monitoring for prohibited items as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist with access control by allowing only authorized individuals to enter the healthcare location, following established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and initiate emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and healthcare staff regarding incidents, concerns, or policy violations.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the assigned post to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and interactions according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Provide directions and general assistance to individuals within the location as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
