Job Description


As a Security Officer - Dispatch Access Control in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and coordinate communications, manage access control, and respond to alarms, helping to deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the commercial real estate location.
  • Receive and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and routine matters to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain communication with on-site security-related staff and provide support as needed for incident response or patrol activities.
  • Document all calls, incidents, and security-related activities promptly and accurately according to site-specific policies.
  • Support Allied Universal and client protocols by following site-specific post orders and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring access control systems and video surveillance equipment to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by responding to inquiries and reporting concerns as appropriate.
  • Participate in emergency response activities following established protocols and assist in coordinating resources as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
