As a Airport Security Officer - Ramp Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon 

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas for unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries, directions, and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Follow all post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
