Job Description


As a Security Guard - Healthcare Patrol in Danvers, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will stay visible throughout your shift, conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related situations, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting resolution and/or escalation as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client protocols.
  • Assist staff and visitors with wayfinding and general inquiries, providing support as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel and emergency responders as necessary to address incidents and support emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
