Job Description


As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Driving Role in Mansfield, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. This position is a driving post, requiring you to safely operate a vehicle as you conduct your patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following all Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports as required by Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with client representatives and/or local law enforcement as directed, to address security-related matters at the location.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times while representing Allied Universal at a technology-focused client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
