As a Security Officer Armed Flex Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will include interacting with the public, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication throughout your shift. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques where appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned government property, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of the location, including identifying maintenance or security-related concerns during patrols.
  • Maintain a professional presence while carrying a firearm, adhering to all applicable regulations, company protocols, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders during incidents as directed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for Allied Universal and client review.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification required for roles in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
