As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Portland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. You'll play a key role in providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, while supporting a secure environment for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including suspicious activities or hazards, to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify the identification of individuals entering the location.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and/or drills, following established protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
