As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining high visibility to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observing for unusual or suspicious activity and reporting findings to the appropriate contacts.
• Support access control measures and visitor management processes as required by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to promote a security-minded environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
