As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver TWIC Required in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine rounds, providing excellent customer service, and communicating professionally with all individuals on site. This is a driving position, and you will be responsible for following all Allied Universal protocols while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas of the government location, reporting any suspicious behavior or activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and incident reports as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and location personnel to address security-related concerns and support site operations.
  • Assist with access control and/or visitor management in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
