As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Sarasota, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions within the food and beverage environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client site instructions.
• Assist with access control processes, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the facility.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to address questions or direct them as needed.
• Remain alert to environmental and security-related hazards, reporting them promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
