Job Description


As a Security Officer - Full Time Aero/Defense Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense-focused location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and provide a visible presence. You will interact regularly with employees and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the location as required by site-specific policies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and/or incident reports, following Allied Universal's reporting guidelines.
  • Support the implementation of security-related procedures tailored to the needs of the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have at least one of the following: one or more years of law enforcement experience, two or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
