As a Security Professional - Commercial Property Patrol in Rockville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Your presence will provide reassurance to occupants and visitors, while your communication skills and customer service mindset will help address inquiries and assist with access control. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participation in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site staff, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or situations that may require additional attention to support a secure and orderly environment.
• Assist site management and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
