Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help protect people and property, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is an armed and driving position, so you will be entrusted with important responsibilities that require professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, both armed and unarmed, throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points and observe activity to help to deter prohibited items or actions within the location.
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and site personnel as required.
  • Maintain readiness to respond appropriately to potential threats or emergencies within a government environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
