As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Lumberton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as required. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication throughout your shift. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner utilizing appropriate security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to the client and visitors.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and/or exiting the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed in the event of a security-related emergency.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
