Job Description


As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Government in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for those on site. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and offer exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
  • Follow all instructions and directives from Allied Universal and onsite management regarding security-related protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as situations arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
