What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the business premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and information as needed, promoting a welcoming environment.
• Support emergency response activities and follow site-specific protocols as directed.
• Document incidents and maintain logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client standards.
• Work collaboratively with on-site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
