As a Security Guard - Unarmed Entry Screening - Overnights in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents at a unique location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, seeking assistance from appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited items from entering the location.
  • Operate screening equipment and/or perform screening procedures as required, to help identify prohibited items and to assist in maintaining a secure environment.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and screening results according to company and site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and remain alert to changes in the environment that may require a response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Having a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
