Job Description


As a Security Officer - Aerospace Facility Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a leading aerospace and defense location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and be a resource for those onsite, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or unusual circumstances to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site policy.
  • Support emergency preparedness by participating in drills and following established response protocols specific to the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents, daily activities, and relevant observations.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and address inquiries as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
