As a Security Officer - Campus Center Patrol - Full Time in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and engagement. You will conduct regular patrols, interact with students, faculty, and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. By fostering a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining open lines of communication, you will contribute to a positive environment that values teamwork, reliability, and integrity, all while putting people first in everything you do.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals on location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist in maintaining a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by observing entrances and exits, verifying identification when necessary, and maintaining awareness of those on the premises.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff in maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment within an educational setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
