As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Unarmed Patrol in Teterboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a location in the aero and defense industry, you will monitor designated areas, conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents, and remain highly visible to those on site. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service, maintaining strong communication, and supporting access control measures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aviation and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related risks.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as required.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner while maintaining security-related protocols.
• Complete required documentation and/or logs for patrols, incidents, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
