Job Description


As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Government in Bothell, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This armed position involves routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential criminal activity.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior in and around the government facility.
  • Document incidents, observations and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and site personnel when required, following established post orders and procedures.
  • Operate communication devices and security-related technology provided at the post for reporting and response purposes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • It is preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
