As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver - Government in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol government locations to help maintain a secure environment. In this armed and driving role, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Conduct armed patrols throughout the assigned location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Respond calmly and promptly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established procedures to address and resolve issues.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, in accordance with site-specific protocols.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide professional customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and/or the public with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Work closely with law enforcement and/or emergency responders during incidents, supporting coordination and communication as required.
  • Enforce site-specific policies, rules, and regulations to maintain order within the location.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, such as evacuations or lockdowns, when appropriate and in line with Allied Universal’s training and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
