What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
  • Verify the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, including employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Maintain detailed records of all access control activities and report any irregularities to Allied Universal management.
  • Provide customer service by assisting personnel and visitors with questions related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal management in the event of emergencies or critical situations.
  • Support adherence to site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
