As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will actively monitor and patrol the location to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond to incidents as needed, and communicate clearly with both the public and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols and shift responsibilities for documentation and follow-up.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related matters and site needs.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols, assisting law enforcement and/or emergency responders when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
