As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol Driver in Bristow, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. You will be responsible for reporting and responding to security-related concerns as they arise. This position also requires driving as part of the regular duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with working environments and conditions varying based on the location.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity using established communication channels.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports to maintain accurate records for the location.
• Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or directing individuals as instructed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
