Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver Commercial in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate setting, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment through regular patrols and a visible presence. This is a driving and armed post where you will interact with visitors and tenants, address situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor and observe activities throughout the location, reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents as needed.
  • Support security-related emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
  • Maintain a visible security-related presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and/or unwanted activities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required during incidents.
  • Complete and submit required incident reports and daily activity logs in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
