As a Security Professional - Healthcare Armed Patrol in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and regular patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will interact with others in a professional manner, responding to situations as they arise and communicating clearly at all times. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and guidelines, and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized individuals and/or activities.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal’s protocols.
  • Monitor access points and assist with the verification of identification and credentials for staff, patients, and visitors as required.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and contribute to a secure environment for patients, employees, and guests.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
  • Support Allied Universal and client site staff by participating in drills and/or training related to emergency preparedness and response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with customer service is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
