As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a healthcare environment. This role is both armed and requires driving, giving you the opportunity to utilize your experience while actively monitoring assigned areas. You will also interact with staff, patients, and visitors, demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, maintaining awareness of activity within the location.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as necessary.
  • Document observations and incidents accurately and promptly according to company and client protocols.
  • Engage with staff, visitors, and patients in a professional manner to provide assistance and information as required.
  • Follow all protocols for the handling and storage of firearms and related equipment, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
