Job Description


As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Framingham, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Your exceptional customer service and communication skills will be key in fostering a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare facility's operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including the premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly flow of individuals within the facility.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, accidents, and/or unusual activities according to established procedures.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions, information, and support as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare personnel and local authorities as required during emergency and/or security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
