As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Big Island, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role involves supporting access control measures and responding to various security-related situations. If you have a valid driver's license, you may be required to operate a company vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or conditions in assigned areas.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff and visitors, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities in coordination with site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
