As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver in Big Island, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and approachable presence. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to staff and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.
• Observe for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity on site.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as required regarding security-related matters and site conditions.
• Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as directed by site procedures.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and requirements, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
