Job Description


As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. You will be visible throughout your shift, conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, property damage, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to support a secure environment and assist with access control responsibilities as needed.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards or situations that may require an emergency response and promptly notify the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
