As a Security Officer - Access Control Retail Desk in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment within a retail or mall location. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to assist visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying the credentials of individuals entering and exiting designated areas.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and vendors with access-related inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including potential access control violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any irregularities, access violations, or unusual circumstances as observed during patrols or at access points.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
