Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the property to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This armed position provides the opportunity to support tenants and visitors while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and an Armed Guard License is required

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence as an armed security professional.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property management to address concerns related to the property's security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
  • Possessing a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
