Job Description


As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol Full-Time in Suwanee, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated tech-oriented locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those around you. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment, and you will be entrusted with providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors in a tech and media location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with controlling access to the premises by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members, providing information and direction as needed.
  • Document incidents and observations using Allied Universal reporting systems in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
