What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail and mall areas, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with general inquiries and provide directions or guidance within the location as needed.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
