As a Security Guard - Real Estate Patrol Driver in Hayward, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and supporting a welcoming environment for all. This position is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the commercial real estate location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required by site protocols.
• Assist with controlling access to designated areas and monitor entry points as directed by site procedures.
• Support fire and life protocols by reporting hazards and responding to alarms as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
