As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, assist with managing access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the facility.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to support site policies.
• Provide customer service by delivering information and assistance to visitors, employees, and vendors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document observations and activities in daily logs and incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with client and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct routine and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with consideration for the location's operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
