As a Security Officer - Armed Site - Patrol Specialist in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a prominent commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgement and protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the commercial real estate location to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Communicate with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions, provide directions, and assist with security-related matters.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate security-related reports on incidents, patrols, and observations as required.
  • Assist Allied Universal and site management during emergencies, drills, or evacuations according to established procedures.
  • Maintain visibility and readiness as an armed security professional, adhering to all applicable regulations, policies, and company standards while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
