What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, vehicles, and visitors.
• Assist in carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Provide customer service by interacting with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and escalating issues when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Report and document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with local authorities if required.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience with computer or tablet use is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
