As a Security Guard - Plaza Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and employees. Your routine patrols and visible presence will play a vital role in promoting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Document incidents and observations clearly and accurately for site records and Allied Universal reporting.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees to address inquiries and provide assistance.
• Remain alert to unusual activity, hazards, or potential threats within the financial institution environment and report findings to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
