As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and maintain order. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at the government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, verifying credentials and observing for any unusual behavior.
  • Document and report all incidents, activities, and observations according to Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during emergencies or critical incidents.
  • Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, maintaining visibility in order to help to deter potential threats or unauthorized activities.
  • Participate in site-specific training and ongoing security-related education as required by Allied Universal or the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • A college degree is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • A corrections officer license is required.
  • Must provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • A law enforcement officer license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
