As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Unarmed Patrol in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your strong communication skills and ability to handle access control situations will be key as you contribute to a positive atmosphere. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within healthcare settings.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities as observed.
  • Assist with access control processes for visitors, patients, and staff as required by location policies.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and location protocols.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed, including evacuation procedures and assisting emergency personnel as needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure environment.
  • Maintain a professional presence and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
