As a Security Guard - Logistics Access Control Full-Time in Rosemount, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry and exit points and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence helps to maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by addressing questions and offering guidance related to site access and policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of access control activities and incidents as required by the client and Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats, while observing for unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with emergency response activities by following established protocols and communicating promptly with supervisors and emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
