As a Security Officer - Cultural Institution Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a vibrant cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help foster a secure and welcoming environment. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and interact with visitors to provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Deliver excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
• Interact with visitors and staff in a courteous manner, assisting with questions and providing directions as needed within the cultural institution setting.
• Document and communicate security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
