As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a strong presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the industrial and manufacturing location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for potential security-related hazards and promptly report any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and foster a secure environment within the facility.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with access control procedures and provide guidance as needed while performing patrols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding observations, incidents, and/or activities during the assigned shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
