As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry or exit from the location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or leaving the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, tenants, and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills and following emergency response protocols as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business property and its perimeter to observe for security-related concerns or potential hazards.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, unusual activities, and maintenance needs to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Collaborate with property management and other site personnel to address security-related matters and uphold site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
