Job Description


As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Driving Role in Lake Forest, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting security-related operations within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Follow established protocols for reporting security-related incidents or issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with clients, visitors, and/or employees while providing assistance as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of the unique security-related requirements associated with the aero and defense environment, adapting to varying working conditions as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
