As a Security Officer - Armed Resort Patrol Part-Time in Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor hotel and resort grounds, conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, following Allied Universal standards.
  • Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address and resolve security-related concerns and/or conflicts as they arise.
  • Assist with crowd control and/or access control during events or high-traffic periods as needed.
  • Support emergency response procedures by coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
