What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics and distribution location, both inside the business and along the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for potential security-related concerns, reporting observations promptly as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal protocols and client site policies.
• Maintain communication with Allied Universal supervisors and site management regarding any incidents, observations, or issues encountered during patrols.
• Support access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as necessary for the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid armed guard card or license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
